Underwater World made of sand at boot 2020 in Düsseldorf

*** Update *** You can find our article about the finished project here ***

During the whole duration of the fair boot our artists will build an underwater world of sand. Visitors can watch them create a maritime scene from the compressed sand. Approximately 60 tons of sand were brought to the exhibition hall 13 for this purpose. During the nine days of the fair they will be transformed by our sandcity team into a creatively designed sand sculpture by hand.

But also those who would like to try out their own talent are very welcome: During daily workshops, Anique from our team will tell you how professionals create their sand art. And she invites them to get active with bucket and shovel and finest tools and create their own sandcastles.

You can watch the creation of the underwater world of sand live on the TravelWorld action area at boot in Hall 13. Our workshops will also take place there.

All information on the website of boot.

The photo shows a sand sculpture that we built on a similar theme in Lausanne/CH in 2015. Let us surprise you with what our creative team of artists is creating this time at the boot. Visit us in hall 13.
