sandcity organised World Championship of Sandsculptures 2008 in Germany
This summer, the elite of international sandsculptors met in Leipzig / Halle.

Under the motto „ Fairytales and Myths of the World“, 8 international teams from Europe, Asia, the Americas and Australia competed for the title.

Each team of 2 artists created its imagination of the theme using
40 t of sand in an area of 8 x 8 m.
